Absolutely amazing! We ordered their fried chicken special for takeout, and it turned out to be one of the best fried chickens I ever had! The sides were delicious as well. Mac and cheese had a nice charred top, and the collard greens had a complex sour, slightly sweet, slightly bitter, umami flavor! Their greens was some of the best greens I ever had! We had their sweet potato pie for dessert, and it was out of this world. Will definitely come back to this soul food restaurant. Never expected to have one of the best soul food I ever had in the heart of Pennsylvania. Shoutout to the people who run this place, they were super nice and accommodating. Absolutely wonderful!!! I was in town preaching a revival and was looking for some soul food on a Sunday. Most places are closed. Did I ever find some! Pork chops were hot, crispy and perfectly seasoned. Mac & cheese was on point. And those yams -- Lawd, have mercy! Great prices too. The owners were engaging, kind and upbeat. I really enjoyed talking with the gentleman out front. He makes everyone feel at home. Stay encouraged, folks. You have a gift! May God favor your business and give you the strength the persevere despite the obstacles or opposition that may come your way. HE is greater. Keep looking up. See you next time. God bless! Went with a large work group and felt like we were in a big family get together. Staff was amazing and the food, some of the best fried chicken, greens, Mac n cheese and corn bread I have ever eaten in my life the corn bread was life changing…. Love love love the whiting. As of right now I say the yams and potato salad is my favorite. I had a sweet tea with lemonade mixed and it made the meal. Oh and the roll! The service is great along with the atmosphere. The price is pricing but it’s worth it!! The food and service here is excellent!! Owner and staff were super friendly and down to earth! On our adventures and out of town tryst we look for some good down home food made with love and soul and we definitely found it with this spot!! The decorations, music and mellow atmosphere topped it off!! While the the name says feed your soul ill gently say that the flavors are feed the trash. I enjoy soul food a ton. With that being said the cheap cheese sauce for the Mac and cheese with the sprinkle of cheese to brown on top. Doesn't scream soul to me. The pepper steak is ridiculously over priced for what you get. 6 little pieces of steak and more grissel and bone then you can shake a stick at. The greens while they had great flavor and were perfectly cooked the amount of turkey neck bones is high with this. I'm not hating ladies, you asked me for an honest review and I said I'll be honest. The candied yams are phenomenal along with the potato salad. While I like my fish alittle more flaky it was delicious and had great flavor. The chicken was alittle dry but still had amazing flavor. I'm giving 3 stars for food based on taste and presentation. Subtracted 2 stars because of the bones and Mac and cheese is a staple soul food and it was a hard pass you know u can do better ladies. The huge piece of pineapple upside down cake for 7.99 is delicious. Service you guys have amazing personalities and are fun to joke with. Atmosphere how ever the Louis Vuitton decor is way over done and a tad bit on the 16 year old girls bedroom look. While I like my catfish fried with more cornmeal than flour, the catfish was really good. This was better than the fried catfish I had at Paula Dean’s in Myrtle Beach 3 weeks ago. The Collards were the best I’ve eaten in a very long time. Service and atmosphere were above par as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

So I tried this place out with my mom and aunt and the food was delicious! The problem came in when I paid and look at my receipt……. So I ordered a Loaded fry appetizer which was on the menu for $7.99 it came with chili, sour cream, cheese and chives. They charged me the $7.99 plus $5.99 for the chili and $1.99 for the cheese, sour cream and chives. They also charged us $2.97 for a container to take our food out. 3 drinks were $11.98 plus $.99 for a refill and we dined in! Although the food was excellent and we enjoyed everything the extra charges and paying for a container to take my food out made me not want to go back! I love supporting Black Owned business but come on now. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $100+
