First off, let me start by saying Fernando was an absolute pleasure to have as our waiter. 5 star quality service, from a 5 star restaurant. I was looking for a romantic place to celebrate my anniversary and birthday and I'm beyond happy I chose this restaurant from many other steakhouses here in san francisco. The mixture of ambiance, attentiveness from our waiter, scenic views, and quality of food made Epic Steakhouse an absolutely phenomenal restaurant. My needs and requests were accommodated and met effortlessly. I can't wait to come back to visit to dine with the best in San Francisco. Great place but our private room rental the table was way too big. I had to yell to talk to the person across from me. Super weird. I wasn’t eating dairy and they had a hard time with that but figured it out. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 2

Down on the Embarcadero with Bustis McGee looking for the Scallywaggers that took some poor tourist's watch and we found them just near EPIC Steak. All I had to do was show them Big Bang and little Buster and they handed it right back, then Bustis made them sit in a mud puddle until they were good and wet. The Pilgrim from Kansas got his watch back, and even bought us dinner at EPIC Steak! I've never been there before, and all I ordered was a dinner salad, but I'll tell you... EPIC Steak is Amazing, the food, the service and the ambiance were just Spectacular! ☆☆☆☆☆

We didn’t have a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and treated to super friendly service. As a vegetarian, I savored their wedge salad and exotic roasted mushrooms, while my husband and daughter said the lamb was delicious. EPIC is phenomenal. They have one of the best views of the Bay Bridge, the atmosphere is cozy yet modern, high-end yet welcoming. And best of all, amazing food. EPIC should be your go-to for a date night or business meals. All the dishes were prepared with fresh ingredients and the tartare and shrimp cocktail made it absolutely clear. The ingredients weren't overpowered by overly abundant sauce or spices and were allowed to stand on their own. I had the NY Strip and it was cooked with perfection, flavorful with the miso butter elevating it to a whole new level. Highly recommend the Julia Childs potato side which is soaked in gruyere cheese - one of the tastiest potatoes ever. EPIC is definitely a jewel in the highly crowded on-the-pier restaurants.
