Everything was excellent. They were short staff the evening I went. All was done in an understandable timeframe.

We were seated promptly. Orders were taken immediately. Plates came out fast and almost all together. There were moments when we felt forgotten but it was a good experience after all.

Mahi Mahi Fish Fillet Green Plantains Salad and the Manpostiao Rice
The mamposteao rice was the worst we've had on the island. It was yellow rice with a few beans, burnt as in pegao,. Definitely doesnt represent it's namesake.
Guajava flan was not Guajava, Red snapper and Dorado fillet tastless, i think they were the same
Red garlic snapper , no hint of garlic but smothered with tons of onions. The trifongo was the only item that wasreally good.
Definitely a disappointment . Won't revisit.

My family and I been eating here since they opened. I was diagnosed with celiac at age of 30 so after that I had to watch with what I eat. This place is amazing because of the service, but unfortunately most of the times what I order comes back containing gluten. I highly recommend this restaurant for those who are looking for amazing service and great food and have No Gluten Allergies.

This is a good restaurant in Hatiilo that serves poultry, fish and meat in the typical way that you may find in eateries of that sort in the country. People are raving in some of the reviews about the mamposteado rice and the mofongo, someone label both as the best he/she ever tried. In my opinion both were the most normal ones I have ever tried. I'm not saying those items were not good, they were good but not outstanding. The menu does not offer stuffed mofongos, only mofongo as a side (I didn't ask if you can order it off the menu) and it was ok, same as many other places. The mamposteado they offer is in the pan dry variation, were the rice and beans mixed is put on a pan to make it crispy. Other variations you see on the Island offer a wet version, every person has his/her own favorite rendition of the dish. In my opinion the best I've ever had was in Cien Vinos Restaurant in Suchville Plaza at Guaynabo, that's one outstanding mamposteado, try it and tell me.
