A friend of mine brought me to Wasabi for lunch on my birthday. Really had a good time. We didn't get the Hibachi experience but I could tell it was popular. They had a huge list of specialty rolls and the three we tried where all really good. I also enjoyed the tuna and salmon nigiri. Service was equally strong. Overall really impressed! Come here frequently but today service and quality was a little off. I was placed on the far in squeezed into a regular setting that pushed me into the other group. The chef may have forgotten about me because I didn't receive vegetables and very little chicken from my order. The rice was has too and the soup was different. Best Waitress ever! She was so sweet! I didn’t have to ask for anything, such as refills, napkins, etc because she was on it ! She made sure that we were good ! The food came out fast, and was delicious and non expensive! I overall had a great experience ! Thanks Wasabi ! Also, this review is coming from a month ago visit! Had awesome dining experience at Wasabi! Habachi chicken was very delicious! The rice was soft, seasoned well, and tasty. The ook was outstanding and crafty! The customer service was top-notch. This restaurant was not on my radar at all! I am so happy the other place we were supposed to ended up being too packed and 45 minute wait. We had no wait here, and it wasn't packed! I must say the food was really really really good. The service was impeccable, the portions were large and the Valerie for the meal was perfect! I loved my entire experience! My family and Thave found a new Hibachi spot in the area. The sushi was delicious and a surprise of night. The food was really tasty and well seasoned! Returned the next day, Around 2:00 pm with my daughter. Was told we were not able to get Hibachi bc the restaurant CLOSES at 2:30pm completely shuts down. No signs, no mention of this in the menu. So we sit down and have to order from the regular menu. The waitress was rude, she felt the need to interject her opinion as though someone asked her. She rushed us and five Minutes after we got our food she brought us to go boxes and explain it was time to go. I received the message loud and clear, we will not be returning. Old & dirty building. Ugly entrance, stained ceiling tiles, torn seats, sticky tables & utility tools in dining areas. Hibachi shrimp was over cooked and made me sick.
