Great atmosphere, great friendly service but the quality of the food menu let's it down. Very low quality of food and in taste. Pancakes are nice for the kids, but the rest I could leave. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €70–80 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Firstly we came here after a local walk. Had drinks and a rest. Brought our son here again for a pancake - a gnome pancake ( icing sugar outline of a gnome on the pancake and sweets ). We have been very happy with the service that we brought our parents hete too - for afternoon lunch. Again, friendly and professional service. Asked for an English beer (with minimum beer foam as possible) and they did fantastic everytime. Parking close by, child activities and clean place to eat. Small easy walking routes just a stone throw away. Food well served. Enough staff, well trained, polite and effective in a sound service. Recommended for kids and family outing. Enjoy ! High prices, friendly staff and delicious food. Typical Dutch pancakes and also salads or eggs etc. Many wasps this summer so bring your water spray if you can.

Pancake houses are normally folksy affairs with heavy oak tables, net curtains, the odd leprechaun motif and menus that have not changed since the 1970s. De Heikamp is completely different - a fresh, sparky menu with nourishing pancakes and all surrounded by a forest and playground. The army of sugar addicted wasps was the only drawback.
