Was in irvine for work training mid september. needed to find any place that sells cigars. happened to come across Cubana on google. with a near 30 minute drive, decided to give it a try. arrived just in time for the niners game on thursday night football. place was a bit packed but was immediately greeted by dane the owner (sorry if i got the name wrong, having a hard time remembering). as for someone who’s new into cigars, dane was very friendly and informative on cigars, asking me what i’ve smoke so far and having a feel on what i like. i chose on what he recommended and my God was it a damn good cigar, thank you very much. As i stood outside starting to smoke (seating was still packed because of the game) i was flagged down by a local named Ali to sit next to him, where i also met JD. both good men, super friendly and awesome to be around with. big thanks to JD for giving me some tips on cigars. the place was phenomenal, great ambience and setting, beautiful view of the ocean and almost everyone there knew each other so it made me feel very welcomed and at ease. Since I am in Irvine from time to time for training with Mazda, I am always stopping by every time i’m either in or passing by SoCal. If you’re new and first time, you are always going to be greeted, welcomed and helped out. Give them a try. I’d give them more stars if i could.
