I typically get delivery, the service is quick and friendly. Everything I’ve tried has been great. I love their Egg Foo Young, Egg Rolls and Hot and Sour soup. The Lo Mein is great as is the fried rice, and they don’t skimp on the shrimp when you order the house special. I highly recommend China Star! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Well, I'm a truck driver & every time I'm at my terminal,, Edwardsville... I always order food from this restaurant... the portions r quite acceptable & the taste of all the dishes I've tried r really delicious... This is my favorite Chinese restaurant. The only one I order food from. I've been coming to this restaurant for a very long time. I love there lunch specials. My husband orders his favorite wonton soup with onion and egg rice. My daughter loves the sugar bread. I grew up with this place alright? This is the only Chinese food place I've ever been loyal to! China Star is the best. I only ever get delivery but they are always so pleasant on the phone and delivery is always quick. They even have gotten to know me, so when I order they actually remind me that I like to add this or that, which I'm grateful for. Just super great food and super great people. DELIVERY SERVICE----Wonderful friendly courteous delivery girl, Victoria I think, is Very good and does all she can to please customers. We see she works long hard hours. I hope she gets the respect at work like she gives as our delivery service. Alot of delivery people are cold, rude, and just see it as a job. Not this young lady. She treats us with true kindness. Ordered a quart of chicken fried rice. Took about 5 minutes for my order, I didn't mind the wait. The fried rice was good, but I've had better with more vegetables and meat with the rice for a cheaper cost. Not a bad stop if going by, but wouldn't make a special trip for it.
