The food is great when it's great, lol. Other times you wonder why you came. Limited selection of desserts, sadly. But, boy, howdy! What a selection of great drinks! Liquor top notch. Chili's was our old after work spot to ear, relax, and have fun. Haven't been here in a while, but it was enjoyable. Service was a little slow, but after waiting a while, a guy showed up that wasn't a waiter but helped start our order. Wasn't that many customers, so I am not sure why there was a wait, maybe shift change ... Anyways, the appetizers were, ok as you see in the picture the plate was way bigger than the serving size. I did eat two before this picture, but still... lol those were the southwest rolls. I had the three meat Fajita, meat was good, shrimp was ok, the chicken had no flavor, and the veggies were soft and oily. The small bowl of beans was actually pretty good! I also ordered a corn on the Cobb on the side, but to make it really tasty, ask for the butter and a side of their southwest chili sauce! Tried to make it like a street elote, so I worked with what they had. The wife's liked her salad, I forgot which one it was. Drinks were great, my wife liked the triple tequila drink they had, and drinks have always been good at this Chili restaurant. Recommend Happy Hour, and drinks are cheap and good. I will still go here, but I will definitely try a different dish. I usually come to this Chili's since I live in barstow, and I've never had issues until today. I ordered the three for $10 meal. With the special sauce burger, loaded French fries, salad with blue cheese and a strawberry lemonade. The burger was just about burnt on one side, like they left it on the flat top too long or something. It made the burger really dry. The Texas fries had hardly any cheese on them, and I know they're supposed to have more than they did. I didn't call the restaurant to complain since I didn't notice until I got home, and I didn't feel like driving back. I'm not writing this to get anything free from anybody, I just want the kooks to know about the food that they're handing out.
