I just moved in next door and I've learned if I want fresh chicken the only time it's available is 9:30am. I went in at 4pm and the place was closed up and I learned this is typical. They make chicken in the morning, wrap it and it'll sit in the warmer the rest of the day (literally). Before I knew what their "chicken ethics" were, as we were moving in to town, I grabbed a few chicken legs at 1pm from the warmer case and they were so tough and dried I had to throw them away.
