Very nice place for food in the centre of the delft whether it's breakfast or lunch. Throughly enjoyed the food and ambience and on top was the friendliness of the staff. Delightful Dutch "brown" Cafe, what I would think of as a bierstub. Good selection of beers on tap and the service staff are very thoughtful and solicitous. Grateful for a great evening out. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I am modifying my review because we had a bad experience. We went for dinner, but it took really long and we found out that our order was forgotten. That is OK, it can happen. When it finally came, only three out of the four things we order came, so we ask the waitress. Then, her answer was a very angry: "don't you see I only have two hands!?" I can understand that busy evenings can be stressful for the staff, and we respect that. But being usual costumers, and after waiting for a (really) long time for an order that was forgotten... I expected, at least, kindness. Happy to revisit my review for a full 5star, but I think this must be noted. Per my previous review: I really love this place. Usually, attention is good and fast and food is pretty good. If you are vegan, I recomend the vegan kapsalon. I'm not sure this will be a shared feedback because many times I was the only one sitting inside, but I really loved the ambience, the wooden setting, the multi-floor building and the overall place of the Wijnhaven. I enjoyed the baptist blonde beer and the lagunitas IPA, the cost is quite high for a 0,25 (5€) but the pints were satisfying. Didn't eat anything but food seemed really good. Once I was alone sitting inside with beer and phone for a while and I felt teased by the waiter and a friend of him at the bar counter.. but probably I was just a bit drunk and I won't count on it. Great cafe by the canal. Perfect for a sunny day. The service is great and the staff is extremely helpful and cheerful. The food is good and there are many options to choose from. The truffle fries are must have Meal type Lunch Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It’s a crowded cafe situated in the Delft Centre. Though it was a difficult to sit in(due to lack of free space) I enjoyed the crowd and bustle in the cafe. I ordered spaghetti and mimosa. Spaghetti was delish but it didn’t make sense to put a fried chicken on the top of it. Mimosa was okayish. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €10–20

The place is nice, the fact to have different vegan options is great. However the food is too much "junk food". Flavours are mixed together with no much thinking. I personally liked the jack fruit "meat", but I don't recommend the freaky French fries (vegan).

I picked this place just because a sign outside said “stamppot”, so since it is a traditional Dutch dish I really wanted to try it. To make the story short, they were not serving it for lunch (only dinner), but I was lucky to get a good waiter that offer me a traditional substitute, a soup called “knolselderij-pastinaaksoep” made of forgotten vegetables (vegetables that used to be used a lot and nowadays they are not that much - or at least that’s what I was told). The soup was delicious, served with some bread on the side. I order a big bowl of it, and left satisfied despite the fact that I did not get the stamppot.
