I use to love this place, but after today's visit, I won't be returning. I'll start with the biggest issue first. Some lady walks in with a dog and goes behind the bar area and sits the dog on the counter where customers eat and drink and plays with them for a moment. Then she picks the dog up and sits the dog on the back counter by the alcohol and leaves him there. Proof in the pic I'm about to post. In addition to this, after serving 1 glass of tea they were out. We waited for more which never came and was offered water instead. Next, we get our food and its accidentally eaten by someone else becauee she didnt properly identify the sushi when it was brought out. Smh...then when my group gets the checks, she tries to hand all the books to us instead of reading off who's ticket is whos, talk about lazy. Won't be back. Probably the worst sushi my husband and I have ever had. They broke apart and most of the order was very refrigerated tasting. Very unpleasant tasting all together. Service for delivery was great. Service Delivery Price per person $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 5

Sushi - DECENT All the other food- NOT GOOD (Ramen was sweet somehow??? The tonkotsu was flavorless and chewy. Do not waste your money on it. Picture attached) Wait time - BAD Waitresses- very nice but overworked, not sure why there was only one waitress. Possible management being cheap 🤔 not paying servers enough to help retain their workers??? Idk but the girl was so nice but so stressed out :( If I could give 2.5 I would, Because it was sooooo mediocre. Would not come back. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

The sushi rolls are amazing. I tried the Ahi Tower (pretty standard but well executed), Da Kraken (super spicy but a great flavor profile with some great fresh fish), and the kiki (beautiful and extremely fresh tasting but not very complex in flavor) which is pictured here with the wineglass The place is not very fancy. They play the local radio station... And if you were going by looks alone you might expect to get cheap Chinese here. Service is a little slow and got my drink order wrong, but the people are sweet and polite. I got my drink comped without asking. My son and I wanted a quick sushi lunch before our movie. Big mistake. When we walked in there was a bad odor but I thought maybe it was just from the outside. We sat down and were brought dirty soy sauce dishes and plates and had to clean them with napkins. The shrimp tempura all was okay. The rolls were revolting. We could barely swallow one of each before pushing our plates away. And even though we barely ate, the best they could do was take off 3.75. Never again. How can you mess up a California roll? Excellent sushi place, the food is fresh and delicious. Lots of flavor and very nice presentation. Will definitely recommend to family and friends. Very nice customer service. Small but cozy.

Overall fantastic lunch experience here at BN Sushi & Grill in Cedar Hill. My only issues were the slow service and food coming out of the kitchen at such differences that some members of the party were done eating before others could even begin. For their part they did warn that service would be slow with a handmade sign on the door. I would return as this is as excellent Japanese and the value was great. Will add a star when they can sort out staffing and timing issues.

Incredibly delicious rolls with a unique twist. I ordered The Sweetie roll and it was not like anything I had before. Perfect combination of sweet and savory for anyone with that kind of tooth. The Judo roll was just right, crunchy and delectable as well. The service was near perfect, our server was very hospitable and not overly attentive. Took excellent care of us. Suhsi chefs were really kind to talk to. My buddy spoke Japanese and they engaged with him very well. Prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is enjoyable. I saw someone order an ahí tower and regretted not ordering that. Looked amazing. Will be back for sure!
