Had an excellent time there last night.
Wife had the 1/2 lb burger cooked to medium with fries and I had the Italian Beef (Dry) with onion rings.
The burger was perfectly cooked to order. The Italian Beef was served on a toasted roll and the giardinara / au jus was seasoned and spicy to tasty perfection. The onion rings were good but I prefer a thicker ring with a light beer batter, this batter seemed heavy for the size of the onion rings.
Overall excellent experience, great atmosphere with all the TV's.

Very nice, kind of elevated sports bar/restaurant. Why do I say elevated? The food was superior to pub food, in my opinion. I got the Black & Bleu Burger which was cooked perfectly. The mac & cheese was also delicious--just the right amount of bread crumbs with the right consistency. My friend got a salad because she's Vegan and Gluten-free so there are a few of those options, too, including pizza. The pizza was pretty pricey for a personal size, with each topping adding additional costs. We weren't in the mood to risk it this time, but since the food was so good our first visit we'll definitely give the pizza a go next time!
The atmosphere was sophisticated albeit sports bar-esque. Huge main screen that took up a whole wall as well as many large individual TVs situated next to one another. It would be good for a huge game day. Seating on the bar side (but not at the bar) kind of reminds me of bigger cities where you're put right next to other diners. I kind of love it. Our neighbors were super cool and we made some new friends.

Went for lunch on a Sunday. Ordered fried pepper rings, beef sandwich with fries and onion rings . Tempura coating on pepper rings was very greasy and some soggy. Italian beef sand with peppers and provolone was bland. Meat is prepackaged sliced. Peppers bland . “Chicago” bun was large , tasteless and strangely untoasted . Fries were great! Onion rings were cold and inedible. Bartender had them taken off bill . Great atmosphere if you don’t mind loud sports bar.

Bix & Co. has been on my list and I finally got to try it today, whilst watching the IU/Purdue game and the MI/OS game. We were also wrapping up a massive blended family picture session down the street, so this was an ideal location for us, with a party of 13 + 1 service dog.
Food was fantastic!
Jumbo wings = served with hot buffalo & ranch. They have “the good ranch” but their “hot” isn’t hot, IMO; flavor was great though! Wings were meaty and cooked perfectly…(ie. not overcooked and dry).
Cheese curds = are delish, however interesting only because they’re different than others. Interesting isn’t bad! They’re large cubes, not as rich as other cheese curds, but we liked them overall!
BBQ burger extra patty = a pound of burger meat for one kiddo. He loved it, fries are thinner and crispier (think McDonalds fries) and piping hot.
American cheeseburger = (not pictured) was equally as good. Gone before I could capture a pic!
Kids pizza boat = a very thick piece of bread with pizza toppings. He didn’t love it but he also downed an adult cheeseburger beforehand, so the boat came home for an afternoon snack 😂
The Italian (pick your) breakfast bowl = loaded with eggs, potatoes, graziano sausage, hot giardiniera, Bix white sauce, cheese and a side of toast. Mmnnnnnn! A great, hot breakfast, flavor was spot on. The only thing that could’ve made this better was topped with a runny egg instead of scrambled, but that’s just my personal opinion.
Bacon and cheese breakfast pizza = thin, crispy crust and it was delicious. Served with some Bix white sauce on the crust, and scrambled eggs. It was awesome!
Tenderloin sammy = for a family member, born and raised in Iowa, that has since moved out east. She says it was the last food item she needed to complete this family trip back to Iowa. So far, she’s had Casey’s taco pizza, Dorthy Lynch’s salad dressing, a few local beers, Kolaches buns, Iowa sweet corn, and I’m sure I’m missing some others. But the tenderloin here at Bix, she says, hit the spot and rounded out the final food she wanted to eat before leaving.
Nashville HOT sammy = (not pictured) was not hot at all, and probably our least favorite meal. It was just so so, they could make this so much better IMO. However, plenty of other foods to try so we did t leave hungry!
It was very loud inside with several 🏈games going but it’s to be expected; we weren’t bothered and went intentionally to watch football. Our party of 13 had to be split into 2 separate tables due to seating size, for those planning larger parties here; set up isn’t ideal for larger groups. Service was great, as busy as it was we didn’t wait a crazy amount of time for our food (given how packed it was). — at Bix & Co.

Bix and Co is great. Took our family of 4 with a 4 and 6 year old and they had a blast! They were busy with the lunch crown and we wanted to sit inside because of the heat and the hostess was great because inside was full and she got creative and put two 2-person tables together for us!! Service was fast and food came out fast as well. Tenderloin was great as they use a different style of breading more like a beer batter style and the chicken strips were the same. Kids meals were only $6 which is a deal! Wife had bacon blue burger which was a bit dry and needed a sauce. Onion rings were amazing and they serve em with a chick Fila type of sauce. $18 for a burger with onion rings....a little spendy. But we'll be back!

Seated right away. The place was full by noon. March Maddness will keep them very busy. You will be out of luck if you want pizza or anything with Italian sausage. They didn't get their order. The Italian sliders were very good. I also recommend the cheese curds. The chili was average, and the house wing sauce was okay. Great atmosphere for game watching. I'm looking forward to trying out the pizza.
Absolutely phenomenal menu and sure to be the best available choice in Valley Junction once it opens fully in March 2023. Loads of 4K TVs for all the games, a pool table, a massive patio with outdoor bar access that has views of the Railroad Stage make Bix & Co. a perfect and much needed addition to the Junction.
The cheese curds are especially fantastic - surely the best available in the entire metro. Nothing on the menu is anything less than carefully prepared to be an absolute hit. It’s obvious the chef knows what they’re doing - and it’s fairly priced to boot.
Seating is plentiful and comfortable, and one very large table is available to suit parties of all different sizes.
Atmosphere is comfortable, casual, and up-scale - negating the somewhat “dive bar” vibe that some other places to eat in the area offer instead. You’re sure to find yourself staying for a few more beers once you sit down.
The bar has a fantastic selection, with a little something to try no matter your proclivity.
You can’t go wrong with Bix & Co. - this place is guaranteed to be a regular destination for other locals and an absolute must-eat-there for tourists shopping in the Junction.
