We had an 8pm reservation and waited 35 minutes to get seated. After being seated, we waited for another 15 min. When we recognized that the people ahead of us still haven’t been served, we decided to leave. We weren’t even served water. They were severely understaffed. What a waste of time. The front of the house could’ve just told us that there was a long wait, but didn’t. They didn’t honor the reservation and didn’t communicate the long wait. Worst dining experience of my life. A great meal and terrifically entertaining chef. Family style seating around the grill so be prepared to sit next to strangers (if you've never been before) but we had no wait. Nice location. Had a great time at the bar for dinner. Got 2 sushi rolls, edamame, 2 large sakes and a Sapporo for under 60. Food was awesome, the service could not have been better. Very attentive, very fluid, and they don't play during happy hour. They want you to have a good time. Not sure when I'll be back around that way but if I do I'll definitely be stopping in again Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Chicken Fried Rice
This was always our go-to hibachi place. Honestly, not anymore. We came in a party of 7 with a reservation. Even though the staff is really nice, the portions of protein have gotten smaller, the quality of products used has declined, and the prices for the declining quality is outrageous. We were there during the super bowl. It was eerily empty but that was expected. Regardless of the place being more than half empty, it felt rushed. Soup and salad came out quickly right after each other and the chef had already come to cook. I had a prickly pear margarita and it tasted nothing like prickly pear; it was more like straight up alcohol with a bit of sweet that I couldn't quite taste and a salt rim (probably should have been a sugar rim for that drink honestly). And why is a side of edamame almost $7?! No thanks. I'm done with the Benihana hype. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Benihana Salad
