So... My second visit was 180 degrees different from the first. We were greeted by Carlo who proceeded to tell us we had to be done by 6PM because they had a special event. Then he told us about all the dishes that we could not order because of the event. To end it all he brought us a cold lava cake... Not sure I'll be back. I'm not sure how this place has five stars, maybe because the staff is nice. This does not taste like real Italian food and I understand that can be subjective. I ate here twice the first time I ate here they were nice enough to let me replace my first order which was lasagna. It tasted horrible like it came out of a box. Then they replaced it with carbanara I basically lied and said I liked it . The noodles were thick with no egg mixture or bacon. So I come back and I figured I try the pizza because it looked good in the picture. If you think you're getting your traditional wood fire authentic Italian pizza forgot it. It tasted like frozen tombstone pizza with weat crust . Nothing is seasoned and no flavor whatsoever. I'm not one of those guys that sacrifices gluten with that wierd crust that some of these restaurants cook with. If I was betting man I would say this food is pre-made or comes from the freezer. Everything about this place was fantastic, the food was absolutely delicious, the service was friendly and prompt, great value for the quality and its a lovely cosy atmosphere.
