I informed the young lady Steph that my steak was well instead of very rare that she could just relay to the cook that he sucked at cooking steaks . She then chastised me and told me how I should’ve reported it sooner I wasn’t asking for anything just a tip for the line cook. There were 6 customers in the place. I had a to go order and the salmon was a little dry, so I had called and the manager Brandon was so extremely nice. I am one to never complain. I am glad I called though because he actually gave me a gift card so I can bring my family in. I thought it was so nice. their food is normally amazing. One of my favorite restaurants. We stopped in Walland town for a wrestling tournament at the Mountain America Event Center. Things were very busy at Applebee's with so many people. Our waitress, Miranda C, did an amazing job. We had 7 tables between all of us. Plus, her other two tables of people she was taking care of in her section. I never felt like we were waiting for her. The food came out quickly, tasted great. We bought a mozzarella appetizer, two bacon ranch crispy chicken sandwiches, and a neighborhood burger. The fries were warm and crispy. Great sizes. I considered this place to be the best chill spot for a quick lunch, date night or hanging out with friends. Service and atmosphere is great. Our food was cold even though our plate was sizzling. We ordered a couple of medium steaks. They both came out well done. We mentioned it to the waitress and she offered to have two new steaks brought out. We declined, just because it's hard to send food back. I always feel bad doing that and we didn't really want to wait. But I also hate paying for food that is not good. Well the waitress let the manager know and he came over and offered again to bring new steaks out. We let him. It Kind of ruined that nights experience, as we didn't want to eat the sides by themselves and they became cold. But the manager brought out two complete plates with hot sides and steak cooked to the requested temp. We couldn't stay and eat, but I was very impressed with both the waitress and the manager for going the extra mile to make it right. You could tell they genuinely cared that we had a satisfactory experience and were happy with our food. That goes a long way!
