YIKES!! I don't know what happened to the 99 but it was a disaster from the moment we sat down. Chicken tenders were out to us in 5 mins straight from the microwave. Dry and stringy. I also know the one on S. willow street in Manchester is more of the same. A round wal mart chicken patty on pasta with watered down sauce was 18.95. I had a discount for a hamburger 🍔 through the app. Being in the area and hungry, I stopped in and sat at the bar 🍻. The bar was very busy so service was a little slow. There was only one bartender. I had the All American Burger without bacon 🥓 and a lemon 🍋 square for dessert. Both tasted good. I liked this 99 Restaurant and I am going to recommend it. The food was just ok. We visited during our week vacation and I would compare it to any other chain restaurant just decent enough to eat. Nothing really special about it. As a chain restaurant, I've got to say the food has not maintained its quality over the years. I used to love coming to 99 restaurants with friends and hit the trifecta of great food, great service, and great atmosphere. This time, I came for the trivia night and the service and atmosphere were still good, but the food didn't seem to be loved by everyone at the table and especially not for the price. I could've enjoyed a store-bought chicken-pot-pie at home for half the price, not to mention an old-fashioned for much less cost. At this point, I only came for the trivia night.
