We found this place because we searched for a great french onion soup in the Burnaby area. We were not disappointed with the French onion, the flavour was amazing. It was lava hot as per usual and a great mix of onion to broth. The only complaint is, it needs so much more cheese. But everything else was spot on in that bowl. The deep fried pickles are nice and crisp. Our server was amazing and friendly. She got to our table pretty fast and the place was full. We sure couldn't complain, she was prompt and very friendly. Three out of the four had the French onion soup and loved it. Drinks were good even though I ordered a Coors banquet, it's been years. I highly recommend this place. If you want to catch a hockey game this place has you covered with tvs Pretty decent atmosphere and great food. Chairs are a little tight on thick thighs haha but can't fault them for that. Husband loves going here as he is able to enjoy a cigar outside on the patio. Food is good and fairly priced, same with the drinks. We have gotten familiar with some of the staff/ servers, some are more personable than others. We will be back and continue to come back. One of our favorite spots. Great place for daily specials. Popular on game nights as they have large TV and a couple projectors. Drinks mixed/poured well and food is always a hit. The staff is amazing and they take the time to get to know you and remember your order, it’s my go to place for special treatment.
