A review for plant-eaters: As a vegan who was invited to a crab house for dinner, I am impressed. We ordered the pasta primavera without cream sauce and asked for marinara instead, indicating to our server that we don’t do dairy. She went as far as to mention to us that the veggies we ordered on the side would not be cooked in butter, something that we appreciated greatly! The marinara sauce was very good. Service was quick. Happy to report a great experience here!

These crab cakes are THE BEST I've ever had. Crab balls are amazingly delicious!! Shrimp scampi was so generous with shrimps. I'm not a fan of cooked oysters, but these grilled oysters were just UGH! Good: crab cakes. They were great - and broiled was better than I expected! I could make a meal of just crab cakes! Bad: crabby fries. It's a massive plate of fries, topped with way too much thick gloppy cheese sauce and then some crab meat. Fries were fine, crab was fine. Cheese sauce was too much. Felt like an overhaul of the dish would be in order. I ordered the crabby fries and a single crab cakes on the side. Loved the crab cakes (and disliked the fries) so much I ordered another one. If I could give 0 stars I would. My family visited this restaurant on 11/4/2023. My mother who is immunocompromised received RAW shrimp. We asked to speak to the manager who was VERY smug. His only resolve was to remove her food from the bill! I asked how I could speak to someone above him. He told me to go to the website. Offered not one contact. Please think twice about visiting this restaurant and spending your hard earned money!!!!! Food: 1 Service: 1

A true fresh crab and seafood house! Been coming here for years and Woody's never disappoints. Their parking lot n back is always a bit tight so park in lot next door if this concerns you. The servers are always friendly there. They have a good draft beer selection. Check out the Woody's ice cream shop next door after your meal. Went here for my anniversary and my husband's birthday. Food is phenomenal. They are kid friendly, they have a friendly staff. I absolutely loved it. You are not rushed out it was like being at home for a family cookout or something we all just sat talked and ate. Highly recommend! Seafood Burgers, whatever you decide it's good. It was my first time here but my husband usually comes once a year. He teaches about the crab cakes but I decided to get the fried flounder basket that comes with fries, hush puppies, cole slaw and fried flounder. The fish pieces were huge with a perfect amount of breading. It was so tasty and the best tasting fish I've had in a long time. The high puppies are fried balls of goodness with the perfect savory and sweetness in the batter. My husband ordered the Cobb salad with crab cake and he really enjoyed this new choice. Seems like you cannot really go wrong. The kids enjoyed their kids meal with fish and chips with ice cream to follow.what a lovely meal altogether. Warning: wait is usually long on the weekends.
