Tire dept broke my hubcaps when I came in for a tire rotation these clowns didn't say anything and a couple days later I saw my hubcaps were loose and that half the studs were missing when it wasn't like that before. I paid 20 bucks for them to destroy my hubcaps never ever will I use this pathetic excuse for a company again.
Great prices. Found everything I needed from food to carpet cleaners.
Now that technology is taking over, I found it unfair to the only real cashier among the deserted 30+ cashier lanes, with 20+ customers patiently waiting. I do feel bad for the cut employees. However, if we don't embrace change, then we become grumpy old people, which I dislike as well. So self check out, You win!
Note: My friend that I brought with, with only 10 items to my two carts, showed up 36 minutes later, going through the only teller because she supports live workers. Then she asked me where I wanted to go for dinner, and I replied, "Just finished it," holding up a sub sandwich I purchased at Walmart, a Mountain Dew. And onion rings. She had a pouty face and sad looking. I pointed to the rear seat and said, "Yours is already sitting back there for you".
When swung back around, she was smiling as I had all her favorites pulled out ready to be eaten.
If you need a reason to buy your produce elsewhere then I'll be the first to say so. After buying two broccoli crowns yesterday after I got off work, I cut into one when I got home to discover a cockroach that was still alive in the broccoli. Also the broccoli crowns I grabbed where some of the last in the crate. So that cockroach that made a home of the one I picked had to have traveled past others in the same crate. Consider yourself warned. Also they put returns back on the shelf that were returned because they don't work. Go to a different Walmart if you have the ability
Depending on what you’re looking for on your needs, are the Walmart in Gardnerville will be OK food products, etc. related our average prices seem to be going up considerably skimpy animal proteins choices. Vegetables and fruit seem fairly nice other items not the store probably are in line with most other stores nothing special nothing bad, but there are many isles that are not stopped or organized and maybe some that are so it’s a hit or miss for me anyway I need
They had a printer on sale, but after I bought it and I found out it was a very old generation printer like my father’s generation. Non of my computer or laptop is suitable for it. When I wanted to return it, they said electronic products and warranty can only be returned within 30 days. However, they did not educate me this policy when I bought it. Their employees were very nice, I would give 5 stars to their employees. But Walmart should offer the refund/return policy when consumers buy their products. Every company wants to sell out their old products but they should also offer return/refund policy. This is really a trap for selling a very old generation of product and doesn’t educate consumers only have 30 days to return. Walmart emphasize their mission is “to save people money so they can live better.” Apparently they don’t do what they said.
I like the inside but I had parts ripped off my truck 10 spaces from the door in the lot at ~9 pm. just come out an hour later to some removed grill parts; they knew what they were doing and i hope no one else gets it.
First, I want to say that this is one of the cleanest and nicest Walmarts that exist. Why do I rate it a three? They have a female manager who is an absolute troll. She worked to block my purchase of a shotgun, knew little to nothing about the firearms counter and/or gun purchase laws, immediately threw attitude toward my wife and I, and made it a horrible experience. On top of that, she tried to blame the problem on a junior employee to get out of any responsibility. Lo and behold, that nice junior employee no longer works there. This would normally be a 5-star review, but as long as this horrible witch works there, I can only justify a 2-star rating due to employment of one of the most toxic people I've ever met. Literally a living Nurse Ratched in a Walmart vest.
Very large, clean and well stocked Walmart. Parking lot could use some shade trees. Free wifi reaches almost all of the parking lot and they don't seem to discourage RVs staying a few days.
As you would expect it's like any other Walmart has everything, except I drove over an hour after being quoted a different price on the phone for a computer when I got there they charged me over $500 more than the price quoted.
They refuse to honor the price quoted I spoke both of the electronics manager and customer service and both were rude about it. I'm very disappointed in my experience!
