Fantastic fresh and fried fish right at the beach in Katwijk aan Zee. Usually my go-to place for any fishy business would be Hartevelt at the boulevard, but I've now been here twice in a week time and it's kibbeling, fried mussels and Hollandse Nieuwe herring are really, really great! As an English man I have to say this is close to perfection. Huge code and chips, Calmari sticks and Mussels. Enough for family of 3 and some to take home for tea.

Quality of the fish is excellent. Sauces are fresh. Fries are a bit expense, but they are a good addition if you are with people that don't like fish that much.

Delicious, fresh fish. Apart from traditional kabeljauw (cod) and kibbeling (cod pieces), also gamba’s (shrimps) are worth eating. Fresh salads and fries in addition. Service is very nice and quick. Typical Dutch fish shop, highly recommended !
