It's such a beautiful place! The food was delicious and hot and made just like we ordered, which was nice. Our waitress was wonderful. Sitting outside on the deck is so relaxing looking at the water and watching the wildlife. Prices are about normal all in all a great place to eat. Gator tail was so good! Wonderful service very kind and helpful host and our server Valentina was sweet and and gave very great service. Chill Atmosphere We started with the crab dip though presentation wise it was a bit off putting with the Christmas colored chips it was very tasty. We all ordered the Fisherman’s BLT which loooked interesting but ended up simply being okay . not sure if it’s the type of fish with the bacon combo but I’d probably just stick with a simple B.L.T or use a more firmer fish than the Basa as an option. Everything just kinda fell apart and it was hard to taste any flavor in the sandwich . The French Fries were great and the Bluecheese is top tier. We also ordered wings but sadly they tasted not fresh and were doused in hot sauce. Tankfully since we barely ate one they were removed from the bill . The Rum Drinks were phenomenal . Stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday with an old friend. He had the Cuban sandwich, which he said was very good. I had the fish and chips, which was also very good. We both had fries. Nice, crisp, hot; couldn't have asked for better. Service was prompt and friendly. Great casual atmosphere. I would highly recommend. Ate here tonight with a party of 8 to celebrate a birthday and our server, Jane, was horrible. We got to the restaurant a few hours before their live music started to ensure we had a nice experience before the restaurant got busy with the live entertainment but even with it not being busy, Jane couldn’t get anything right. It took close to 20 minutes to get our beers after we ordered them, and we were seated for quite some time before she even asked about ordering food. When we did receive our food, we were missing one complete meal, a salad, and were also given wrong items that we didn’t order. Jane told us she’d grab the missing meal, stating that she had just left it in the kitchen, but she never came back with it. After 15 minutes, one person in our group had to go find her to ask where the meal was and she just said she doesn’t know what’s going on and went into the kitchen. We finally got it another 10 minutes later and the bread on the sandwich was black. They clearly burned it in their haste to cook it fast since Jane forgot to put in the meal. Accidents happen, but don’t tell a table of 8 that your grabbing the last plate when it hasn’t even been cooked yet. We were all waiting for everyone to get their food before eating so that left 7 of us waiting for what we thought would be a moment til the 8th meal arrived. When we received our check, we also realized that we were charged for the salad we never received. Because Jane never came back to the table, we had to go inside to get it removed from the check. She also forgot to bring our drink refills so we had to ask about them repeatedly til she brought them. Despite being told we were celebrating a birthday and had birthday balloons at our table, Jane didn’t even say happy birthday, which only showed how little she cared about the service she was providing our table. The only redeeming quality of the experience was that most of the food was good. If you get Jane, ask for a different server so you can actually enjoy your food and drinks with your companions. Great time at Ukulele's. There were 7 of us, and we were all pleased with our selections. The fried pickles were a perfect appetizer, as were the onion rings. Portions were great. Enjoyed our meals. Our waitress was very good and very friendly. So sorry they don't have fried mushrooms anymore but our crab cake sandwich and fisherman BLT was outstanding! Fabulous onion rings and great beer selection. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of this local hangout on our way to Tampa. So much good food on the menu it was tough to choose!
