This place is dope. Very allergy friendly which can be tough to find up the north shore, at least with any confidence. Soup and bread were dairy free and delicious. Same with the cinnamon roll. The hot bean waters was great too. Completely nut free place and take allergies serious so if your up this way and need an option that’s allergy friendly or just want a delicious, quick home made sandwich, make the stop. Bean & Bear Latte was fabulous, loved the nod to a local favorite trail/landmark! Their shop was spacious, clean and had simple but cute decor. Nice spot up the shore! If you need a good coffee or pastry and you’re in the area, this is your spot. Especially if you’re looking to stay in and around Silver Bay. They do try hard to make the experience appealing instead but it feels like a warehouse still. No real charm or homey feel. I can not begin to express how impeccably perfect this blueberry hand pie was. From the pastry to the filling it was simply perfect. Well worth the 2 hour round trip for this deliciousness. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This breakfast sandwich feels like when you’re leaving your grandmas house before school and she insist on you taking something with you on your way out. I love this place! The food the people! Everything! They are a wonderful family and love serving this community and sharing their stories! This place is a gem 💎 delicous coffee. Even though I didn’t not try any food it all smelled and looked wonderful. This is the only place for at least 20 miles with quality coffee so be prepared to wait about 20 min. This is a wonderful addition to Silver Bay. A great stop after a walk or hike nearby. There is a nice patio to sit on. Both our homemade lemonade and iced coffee were delicious. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I’m so so happy to have a coffee shop near the cabin finally. It’s very nice, there’s indoor and outdoor seating. They have pastries and coffee and tea, homemade lemonade, a small assortment of caps and shirts and little jarred food and drink things. It’s quite lovely and needed in the area. 🥰 the only thing I would alter are the current hours. 2pm is too early to close! I would stay open until 4 or 5pm in summer- but I realize that it’s hard to find employees up here now! Most of the businesses are having a hard time. Good for these guys for juggling an all-family crew. See you all next season. Sorry if I was annoying!! 😭

My wife and I own a coffee shop in Big Lake, so we know a thing or two about establishments like this. We were super impressed with the quality of the pastries and the breakfast biscuit. Coffee was well-made and the staff are incredible. Places like this, don’t even compare to the run of the mill places like Caribou or Scooters.
