I'm guessing it was about 14 years ago i was in LaGrange working on addition to power plant. Star Bar was my wife and I place to go. From the first day till we left LaGrange the folks welcomed us. I would like to give a shout out to the butcher shop there also. Fantastic BBQ on Saturday but you better had gotten there early. I would enjoy retiring and settling there.

Awesome mom and pop bar

I went to this bar to meet my new tamale lady. I got there before her so I went in to wait. I don't drink but there were several patrons in the bar. Everyone knew maria, ( My new tamale lady) said if she said she would be here she would be. I was there about 15 minutes ahead of Maria. Everyone made me feel comfortable and treated me as another friend I was impressed with the cleanliness of the place. It felt as though I were with my family sitting in the living room and telling stories.
