Owner and operator Sanjeev and his staff were more than accommodating and attentive to my entire dinner party of nearly 20 guests. Our waters were always checked to ensure each of us had enough throughout our meal. The atmosphere was welcoming. The food was fantastic; my wife and I got the tomato bisque soup. Definitely recommend the sweet spicy chili wings for appetizers. Looking forward to returning on our next go through Glen Ellen and the surrounding Sonoma area.

It was my first time in Sonoma County and after a visit to the Jack London Historical Park, I stopped at The Mill for a bite. I was so happy to see the creek running right down the restaurant, the hummingbirds flying around and overall felt very serene with the atmosphere. The food was great and service was excellent with very kind servers.
It’s a beautiful, peaceful restaurant.

I’m a huge fan of low key top shelf. This is it. Gorgeous historical setting, locally owned, friendly team, creative and satisfying flavor profiles. Loved the vegetarian and vegan options. Cannot wait to go back!

We love this place! I meant to review sooner. I have allergies. Other restaurants make me feel like I am a problem every time. This place makes a point of asking you about your allergies or preferences and really tries to cook some thing that you will love. It’s a really interesting menu. I had a delicious ravioli dish. My husband liked his lamb burger, and our other guests. Enjoyed brussels sprouts, burgers, and ricotta cheese appetizer. They have super fun cocktails including nonalcoholic cocktails which we appreciate. A nice wine list and beer that they make on site! Excellent service from the Matt D, who gets you settled to the wait staff and bartender. It’s an unusual location. It’s right on an old Mill with some shops and other restaurants around it. About halfway between Sonoma and Glenn Ellen. Tonight we eat inside, which was super cozy on a cold night, in the past, we’ve eaten outside on the summer night and that’s really lovely as well. It’s a casual vibe with gourmet and unusual and inspired dishes. Highly recommend.

Other reviews are very positive, but our experience at The Mill was that the service was very attentive but the food was very overpriced and just OK. We spent $25 each on bacon cheeseburgers. And they weren't any better than ones you can get for less than half the price at any diner.
There are so many good places to eat in the Sonoma and Napa area that it's easy to find much better food at numerous nearby spots.
