I was recommended this place made it here at about 6 and ordered at the counter. Dinner came out to about 55 dollars which we always expect when eating at a small town restaurant. We ordered two mashed potato cones, a hamburger and the fish and chips. Their mashed potatoes were very delightful but the cone they came in was unflavorful. The batter on my fish and chips was soggy and gelatinous and my fries were not crispy either and were full of grease. Not exactly what you are hoping to get when you order fish and chips. Service was nice and so was the atmosphere. The dining room is adorably painted and clean. Just feel like I paid a bit too much for sub par food. Stopped in here on a long road trip and was very pleasantly surprised at how good the food was and at the prices. I got the kiddo size fish and chips and it was nearly as large as the full size. We didn't go for the famous potato cone, but the fries and fish were delectable. There was ample parking as well. I came here yesterday. They were out of all dinner specials, fries, tuna, beef brisket, and grilled cheese. I got the Greek salad, mashed potatoes with gravy, and cheeseburger. The green salad was supposed to have cherry tomatoes, scallions, carrots, olives, feta cheese; which it did not have any. I pointed this out to staff and they assured me that this is the correct salad, and that the olives are sometimes at the bottom of the bowl. The mashed potatoes were very cold like they had been in the refrigerator, the portion of mashed potatoes in the cone was only at the skinny tip at bottom.
