Great "Portland" like food court before Portland was ruined. Lots of different food choices. Lots of seating and great air conditioning. Some nice outdoor seating too. Some of the food is different than you expect so ask for samplers, look around for what others are eating. A bit pricey but good food. Lakeland, FL. This is a jumping spot where young people want to be and older people don’t mind coming. It’s like a Franklin, Tennessee business in that it’s got an industrial vibe with neon lights and modern guitar vocals in the background and smart, attractive staff and decor. Great customer service from mostly college-aged staff. These are all small businesses! My kids said every business here is stellar. Our favorites were Mayday (unique ice cream flavors that change regularly with quirky names); Sabu (my daughter’s favorite ramen spot—and she was raised on SoCal Taiwan-style ramen); and Super Duper Spot (my husband liked his crispy chicken sandwich and perfect fries!). Oh! The bar is amazing too! It overlooks Lake Mirror and has large groupings of Adirondack chairs outside (Kumbayah) and is pet friendly. We looooooved this new find!!!

Loved everything about The Joinery. Came for a birthday lunch and it was a great choice. We split the steamed pork bun & it was delicious. I had the Land & Sea sushi burrito and loved it. My companion had the Florida poke bowl and she scraped up every grain of rice. I had a wonderful cocktail suggested by the charming bartender & it was perfect. No complaints about anything at all.
