I love doordashing food from here. I always "send as a gift" to my husband too, without telling him where it's from. I started to post a screenshot from my text messages showing my husband's reaction to how good the food is, but it's probably best I don't. (He's got a creative vocabulary) but I'm always happy with my orders. I highly recommend this place. My ratings would've been 5 stars for each category had some things been better. The atmosphere is pretty chill even though workers tend to converse a lot when customers are waiting for service. This was even ignoring dine-in customers to talk to each other and the cooks even went outside with a customer to see something (thankfully I already had my food). My omelet was ready, but I had to wait for the potatoes that came with it. I was grateful that my server Layla just brought me the omelet while I waited for the potatoes. I almost had to ask her if my omelet was at least ready since I had heard her telling the kitchen staff more than once that she still needed potatoes. I got a pancake a la carte and it was nice and fluffy like I like it. I asked for lemons with my water and the first cup brought out was old and not fresh so I had to ask for some fresh ones. Then I had to ask for extra napkins, and more than one to-go box (I guess they thought I was going to put the rest of my pancake with syrup on top of my omelet or vice versa 🤦🏾‍♀️). My water never got refilled and it took longer than it should've for her to ask if I was ready for my ticket. These are all small things that can and should be corrected, but put yourselves in the customers' shoes. Would you want to receive part of your food or your whole meal at once? Would you want anything old and not fresh? Do you not enjoy excellent service when you go to a restaurant? Be proactive with the customers. Maybe because I'm not a regular it was easy to slack, but with the food being good like it was I would've loved it if the efficiency and customer service matched. I would still come back and it did save them that I had my computer working while waiting on them since I was able to stay connected to the hotel wifi. My mom came for dinner last night and asked for one piece of grilled fish. The server just brought her a second piece and dared to try to charge her, but took off the charge when confronted that the server just brought another piece. My date and I both enjoyed breakfast here. Had the brisket omelette, it was a bit watery in flavor and ok, came with a side of fried squares of hash brown. The date enjoyed their 8" blueberry pancakes with a side of crispy bacon. Pancakes did not have an even spread of blueberries. The coffee was not very good.
