The best breakfast and best restaurant in Leavenworth, hands-down. My favorites are the biscuits and gravy, Super Chief, Iron Horse, and the cinnamon rolls. Good coffee, too. Service is wonderful - kind and prompt. The owners clearly put a lot of work into taking care of this place. It’s great!

This nice little breakfast/ lunch location has plenty for everyone to try. From the moment you walk in the staff is working hard to take care of you. The food was amazing, and the portions are just right.

Grace the waitress has a beautiful spirit that matches her name and service to us as "first timers" there today! She was outstanding, professional, competent, knowledgeable, personable, lively and sweet! Her recommendations were well worth it! (I tried a smoked shredded chicken hash brown Benedict with hollandaise and poached eggs that tasted like gourmet level!) The side pancake was the best I've ever had, and for me that really means something (because I'm always looking for the perfect pancake!)
We also loved how the owners introduced themselves and gave us a warm history of their beginnings from over three decades ago! What a gem we found in Leavenworth with these wonderful family minded folks! They all take great care and pride in their restaurant! It really did make our day! It was amazing how quick everything was for us too considering how full the place was! The Law family says God bless your families richly and your business! Keep up your precious smiles and great work! Peace to all who patronize the Depot!

Smoked Chicken Hash Benedict
Yum! We wanted something other than, hopefully better than, hotel breakfast and this was perfect. Good coffee, and friendly staff to start. The little muffin covered in sugar was a delightful appetizer. I got the smoked chicken Benedict with flavorful and tender chicken. My husband got the corned beef hash Benedict. Both were delicious and we’d come back anytime. The atmosphere of this old, well-maintained train depot definitely adds to the charm.
This place is a beautiful train restaurant (not tacky at all very beautifully done) and they have thought of everything to make you feel comfortable on top of the staff just being so kind! We went with our 2 yo and 1 yo. BOTH the ladies and men’s bathrooms have changing tables with wipes for if you forgot yours. The kids menus come with crayons that don’t roll (THANK YOU!) and even the kids cups have a fun eye spy game! They have flavored coffee creamers and left us with a pot of coffee (THANK YOU!) The ladies bathroom has female products on the counter for those times you realize you are out. And they start breakfast with donut holes which the kids were all about! The breakfast food is typical yummy food which is great but the service and atmosphere set it way over the top!
