I usually get the chicken tenders, but decided to get the Orilla Chicken Bowl this visit. I'm so glad I did, because it was delicious! The Hot Chicken Sundae is definitely next on my list of things to try, based on how yummy the OCB was! Had the hot tenders with a biscuit, fries and coleslaw on the side. Food was served hot and fresh. If you’re used to very saucy Nashville hot chicken, this is more on the baked-in flavor/dry seasoning side but it still has the hot flavoring to it. Would definitely eat here again! Nicest staff. Food and drinks were great! My kid dropped my husbands phone between the booths, manager had to literally unscrew the seating to get it out, but they were so nice about it and we had our phone back in 5 minutes. Delicious food as always but came an hour and a half before closing and was rushed in and rushed out. I didn’t even have time to look at the menu. Finished at 9:05, they close at 10pm. I still had people wiping things around me and rushing me to be done. I live far away and in this economy paid a lot to enjoy a meal. Expected better customer service than this. Not as friendly. Happened upon this spot after picking up a vehicle and man was it a great hidden gem! Imagine their specialty and they hit the nail on the head of the chicken. We each had chicken strips, they are hand cut and breaded in house. Mine were straight up tenders with fries and biscuit and my husband had the Nashville Hot Chicken strips also with fried and a biscuit. We did not try any apps as we were on a time crunch. Food came out fast and piping hot and the Nashville Chicken was the perfect spice (per my husband). If you're around the area and have never been don't sleep on this spot, so good! Phenomenal! Such an amazing place, small town vibe right outside of West Des Moines. Great selection of delicious apps, drinks and food! We had a couple drinks that were delicious, app that was amazing and the chicken was fried PERFECTLY! The chicken was so juicy and tasty. The ranch here is mouthwatering. Will be coming back to try more and to try breakfast which is only Saturday and Sunday 8-11. Wanted to try to breakfast drink flight. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food is always delicious. My boyfriend and I love to go here for their Iowa hot chicken and Nashville chicken sliders. Decided to try their nachos… we ordered a half order instead of the full order thinking it would be small.. but we were wrong, this was HUGE lmao, no complaints though! Fries are okay. Drinks are great as well, service was great, & overall always a great experience. Thanks to our server tonight: Hannah G. Will be back!

Very nimble service, our server was very hospitable and attentive. The vibes of this place is great! Highly recommend checking The Chicken our. Nashville Chicken Tenders were great, but the Southwestern Eggrolls were just fine. I do wish there was more diversity in appetizer options.
