I moved the mattituck in 1968,& the bar was a great place to get a drink. The people were always nice. I use to help put bottles away& then they took care of me with a drink.Never had a problem. Price per person $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Love this place on my first experience! Place was empty at 930..just 3 patrons..but they were very friendly and easy to talk with. The bartender was very nice and made my wife a nice drink! I saw this bar while buying donuts at NOFODOCO..and was very curious. Will go back!

Stopped in thinking they serve food, but unfortunately that's not the case. Ordered a beer, looked around and felt very comfortable at the bar. Got a flashback of the local saloon I spent much time at in my 20's. Old school saloon vibe.

Fun evening, bartender could have been a little more friendly. Been going to the Valise since I was 17 and never didn't get a buy back after 3 or 4...accept this night. Hasn't changed much.

If you’re on vacation don’t waste your time, 28 years old and couldn’t get served because their bartenders aren’t trained enough to know a fake ID without a scanner so they don’t accept out of state IDs.
