One of the best places for a nice dinner in Lancaster. We always like to go here for special occasions. We had the crab dip, a burger, scallops, and crème brûlée. They also have great cocktails. My daughter took me to The Belvedere Inn for my birthday. I really enjoyed my experience here. The food was phenomenal! The taste, and the presentation of the food was great! We had the crab and lobster dip and the Belvie bread to start. Then we had the Belvie bread. Then we had the petite grilled Cesar salad with their own homemade Cesar dressing. For the main course we had the braised Short rib which was served on top of grits with fontina cheese, there was gravy over the braised Short rib. There was a side of oven roasted brussel sprouts and apple mostards! Oh it was a party going on in my mouth! The braised Short rib was so tender you hardly had to chew it! The grits were creamy and flavorful! The brussel sprouts were a little crispy with a hint of sweetness, they we're so delicious and I am not a big brussel sprout fan but these brussel sprouts were the exception, so good you want more. The wait staff was top notch, service was timely and very professional. Our waiter's name was Jimmy, he was very pleasant with a nice sense of humor! He was very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions or anytime! You will not regret going to The Belvedere Inn! My fiancé surprised me with a birthday dinner here and it was magical! He reserved a villa and on the table they had a little sign on the table wishing me a Happy Birthday with my name on it. The villas have electric heaters and I felt comfortable the whole 2 hours. Our server was awesome and the flow of our meal was perfect, we didn't feel rushed to leave before our 2 hour reservation was up, the food came out in a well timed manor. We ordered the signature Belvie bread and Lobster & Crab dip to start, they also brought complimentary bread and butter, all of it was amazing. For dinner, my fiancé got the filet and I got the chicken piccata. The chicken, potatoes and asparagus were fantastic. The carrots and potatoes my fiancé got were amazing as well, the only complaint we have about the whole experience was the filet. It was cooked perfectly and very tender, but lacked in any real flavor. Overall this wasn't a big deal, but going back, we both would have ordered the chicken, because it was so good. I had a great time in Belvedere Inn. I went for a late night experience as I finish working be very late. I love the service and the quality of the food. I tried many different appetizers instead of plates. I will definitely return to try the plates. I had calamari, crab and lobster ap., sliders, and mussels. For the drink I had a expresso martini which I love. Also, finished with the chocolate cake which was very delicious. This is my favorite restaurant ever. The food is EXCELLENT. The service is IMPECCABLE. The atmosphere is PERFECT. The staff is AWESOME. It has an old school feel with a modern menu. The rooftop booths are the perfect thing for a romantic evening or intimate setting with family or friends. If you are in the area or even within traveling distance, I HIGHLY recommend this place. I've only been here twice. Our first time we got Jimmy a our waiter and he's a cool cat. Our last visit we got Ari and she's the sweetest.
