I took my crew for a dinner outing and Texas Roadhouse did not disappoint. It was Saturday night and they quoted a pretty long wait but wound up seating our party in about half the time they quoted. We ordered a few appetizers and the hostess that seated us provided a couple of baskets of rolls as well. We had a big party and our waiter was on top of everything. For dinner we had an assortment of steaks, prime rib, catfish, etc. We also had a young one with us and they brought it his food quickly, I wish more restaurants thought about this. I ordered the 14oz. Ribeye and it was one of the better steaks I've had at a restaurant in recent memory. Perfect medium rare, well seasoned, and a nice crust really hit the spot. The prime rib looked absolutely awesome and while I didn't have a bite the young man who ordered it said it was amazing. Price was really reasonable, I was pleasantly surprised when the check came. We went for lunch on a Thursday since they opened at 11:00 am. I had the 3 piece catfish plate, and my husband had the chicken strip plate. It was all very good and the atmosphere was nice, not too noisy. The waitress was very nice and checked on us frequently. We will be back to eat there. I love Texas Roadhouse. I love that each location connects so much with their community. They offer great food and at affordable prices. The people seem to love to work there and the management is always good to visit the tables. My steak was delicious (medium rare 12 oz ribeye) with salad and fries. I took my picture after I started eating because it looked so good! 🤣 Staff seemed a bit busy and slow to respond to drink orders, and they were out of a couple of beer types that my friends wanted.
