I recently visited Tenaga Kava, a spot I've passed by countless times. Despite usually making my own kava at home, I decided to give it a try. The staff, especially Dave, was cool and hospitable. The owner was also friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Although not overboard, I appreciated some of their wall decorations, which added to the charm. And, of course, their kava selection, particularly the Vanuatu and Fijian options, impressed me. What stood out was their approach – they didn't press for a specific head or body feel when discussing their kava types, aligning well with the traditional essence of kava. As an ethnobotanist and kava researcher, I was pleasantly surprised. The Lomi Supreme reminded me of fresh Vanuatu kava. While the lighting could be slightly darker as daylight fades, and there were a few too many bula calls, these were minor issues. I'll definitely be stopping by again.

I am new to Kava/Kratom and my first time coming in was extremely welcoming. Lauren went through everything with me to make sure I ordered what I would like. It is a locals spot, the same people are here every time I’ve been here, which is amazing. It is very comfortable and everyone is like family here.
