By far and without a doubt, this is the best Taqueria in Placerville, Diamond Springs and Shingle Springs; So if you are in search delicious authentic Mexican cuisine, there’s no other place to go accept El Carnival! This restaurant is always extremely clean and the customer service is second to none. El carnivals one of those restaurants everybody wishes they had nearby. @agentberkee Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I'm originally from Los Angeles, with Mexican parents (from Jalisco) and this is the best Mexican food we've had in the region. Always super friendly and great service. 4.96 for a large drink. Gave 10.00 bill , got .04 back? Over charge and work cash register. Never going back, I will tell all my friends No Good there!!! Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Ordered a burrito with extra pico de gallo, and a vegetarian tostada. The burrito was gross and had old tasting chicken, and the lettuce on the tostada was so wet that there was water pooling in the container. And it was missing the guacamole. I mean, it's a fun, clean atmosphere, but the food is gross and overpriced.
