This was my first visit to Taco Cabana. I really wasn’t impressed. The food was a bit bland. The service was probably the best thing there. And the background radio, omg we couldn’t even enjoy our meal because it was SOOO loud! The best thing out of the entire experience was the chocolate empanadas. They only give you 2 in each order so if you were thinking of “man, not only are they good, they are pretty small “ as well just order each person an order of them and you’ll thank me later. I love Taco Cabana. This is the only one kind of near me. Anytime I am driving back home past it I try to go to it. The last 6 out of 10 times I go here something has been forgotten in my order. When I call and let them know the only option is to come back. Onetime I cam back the next day for a refund and it was a huge deal. The other time I went back to get the items missing. All other times I ate the cost which is unfortunate. They need to offer a gift car option or different refund option where I dont waste my time and gas. Yes, I should check fully through my bags but there's times i am in a rush or i order several items. I am saying fully check your bags and be cautious because they arent observant or consistent. The last two times we've eaten here it has been very good. This time was dine in, very nice lady on the register. It took about ten minutes to get our food but I feel like someone was actually preparing it. Came out hot and tasty! Pictured is the new street tacos plate with rice and beans. I'll be back!! So I thought I would order online, get the App, get home delivery. Worked great, I think Uber Eats delivered promptly. Food was good, but we had ordered two sides that were not included in the order. Used their VERY confusing and almost useless contact method. Asked to be contacted by phone. I thought they never called but I received an email saying they had indeed called and I had replied via text that I did not recognize the number nor did it have an id so I would call it back. That is standard message since we all get so much spam and robo calls. I emailed them back and asked that they resolve this complaint, never heard so filed a second case, To date and much more time than necessary, I have yet to get a call, email or refund. I have dealt with many other Restaurant or fast food companies when I was shorted or had an issue. Most all of them have excellent CSR or systems in place to address this type of problems. Taco Cabana has no easy way, no contact information, number, email or chat. This is unacceptable. If you follow my Google Review or my Hotshot-USA Resource Network of Social Media and Websites, you know this is what I do. I review and let my members know what is on my mind. Visited Taco 🌮 Cabana on a Saturday evening. The sitting area was empty, a couple of people waiting on to-go orders, and yet our order took quite a bit of time to be ready. I wish the tables and floors in this restaurant were clean and the service was faster. Portion sizes were on the smaller size despite paying higher prices. So, I recently got taco cabana like around 30 or 40 minutes ago, and let me tell you… I went in the drive thru and the lady on the speaker was incredibly rude and her attitude was disgusting, then when I’m driving back home, my 6 year old daughter points out there was something black inside her drink. So I check the drink and I find a fly inside her drink. I was not surprised at all due to the lack of cleanliness of this taco cabana. I cannot believe that got in there and it completely disgusted as seeing that IN her drink!! I’m never going back to this location ever again and advise everybody else interested not to it’s a waste of money. This is actually a really good place to get a very reasonably priced good meal. I had a cash back deal with my bank so I thought why not. I went through the drive through and they were so friendly. I got a small order of beef quesadillas with sour cream and guacamole and it was very good. I didn't get a drink so I paid around 6.99 and I thought it was well worth it. They got me through the line very quickly and effectively and took my payment with no issues at all. They gave me plenty of napkins and hot sauce and utensils to eat with. It came in a nice pizza like box which worked out great for me. I will definitely be back and I would highly suggest that you give them a try because I thought they were very good.

Bummed that another Taco C has given me negative experience. Not the same TC i grew up with in SATX - tortillas smaller; told they had ranch salsa at drive thru- after driving around corner to wait ; given bag w/out salsa; had to ask again and simply said they ran out :( just not good service Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 1

I usually love Taco Cabana. I could eat it for days at a time. I ordered the bean and cheese nachos and a large rice. The chips were stale, the rice was crunchy so disappointing. Half our order was not taken out and we had to show our receipt to get the rest. The margaritas were separating 5 mins into being on the table. Just all around bad, waste of money. We informed the manager and she apologized but did not offer any replacements or fresh food. Save your time at this location
