I have been eating here for years since it has opened and the food is consistently delicious. Everything tastes fresh and the staff are all extremely friendly. On mute last visit I had Jessie as a waitress and she was very helpful with describing dishes to help me to choose. She made sure that my husband and I enjoyed everything we ordered and was very pleasant. I highly recommend this establishment and plan to continue to be a patron when in the area. Looking at it from the outside, it's fascinating to look at; the older architecture and the old sycamore tree in the parking lot. Walking in, you'd swear you're stepping in to an upscale place. The servers were very friendly. Every corner we could see was clean and well maintained. I mention it seeming upscale because the lower prices kind of take you by surprise. Our food was very good, as were our drinks. It's a nice spot whether you're put for a nice intimate meal, or just out for a relaxed time with friends/family. This restaurant was a pleasant experience during my trip to the Poconos. I was looking for a place with high quality food that was fairly priced and I am happy to report that this restaurant came through. The bread, appetizer, and filet tips I ate were absolutely delicious and I would absolutely come back for more. However, I was a bit disappointed with the speed of the service, especially because our waitress never offered us the bread until we specifically requested it. Another aspect that I did not enjoy was that I could not order the onion soup with my meal but only the soup of the day (which contained seafood that I am allergic to), so I was forced to order the side salad instead. Went with a group of friends and no one could day anything bad. The nacho Supreme had a great mix of nacho to filling that every bite had some goodies on it. Just wish our server came around more to fill out drinks. Otherwise, very good place for a meal and a decent price. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Located in Delaware Water Gap township on Rt 611. Sycamore Grille looks to be a local favorite. The decor is Old Town Americana with "Tiffany" style lighting and the replicating of an old street scene. Though a little pricey, Sycamore Grille offers a wide variety of fine-tasting entrées and appetizers. My wife chose a basket of sweet potatoes (probably twice fried) w maple poppy seed dressing (yum!) and lump & claw crabcake appetizers with w creamy remoulade & tomato salsa. I asked for the Salmon BLT Burger and fries (again, twice fried). The burger came w 4 big crispy slices of bacon, tomato, lettuce topped w roasted red pepper mayo on a tasty brioche bun. Had an amazing dinner tonight! The staff was wonderful. Special kudos to the bus girl who was so attentive and not on her phone and cleared every item and then asked us how it was. Our food was incredible, great presentation and such wonderful flavor, onion soup was on point! Prime rib and steak tips were to die for. Loved your house dressing as well! My husband is a chef and we have been around a lot of food service. Your staff is trained well and the back of the house knows how to prepare food. Be proud of what you have in this gem of an establishment! Ps Lindsey, we read your response to review below and it made us want to come and try your restaurant out. the place is really nice, has a lot of parking space and very good service. food is so good. our kids loved the sliders while we had the salad and the sweet chili shrimp. for a fairly priced dish, I was so surprised how the shrimp turned out, presentation and taste, it's so good. it even had blue cheese as well. While out of town I visited this restaurant for dinner. When I arrived I parked in the private lot. I walked in and sat at the bar. Candace was my bartender, and she was working alone for the night at the bar. I ordered the lemon drop martini to start, and it was cool. Then I got the pinot nior. For my meal, I got the maple glazed salmon special. When it came out, it looked great. When I dug in, it needed some salt. I added some, and it was better. The food wasn't bad all in all.
