In a city where everything tends to be touristy and pricey, this place is a breath of fresh air. The food here is not only budget-friendly but also incredibly delicious. What’s even more exciting is that they offer two vegetarian/vegan options - beans in sauce, mixed vegetables in oil, along with rice or bulgur. For two people, we spent a total of 265 TL (9.50 USD). The place exudes authenticity, and the staff, with their rustic and friendly charm, make the experience truly memorable.

It's a local place, no touristic restaurants. Don't get fooled by the appearance, the good is extremely delicious, cheap, and the staff is super kind and helpful. Got the mardin plate, perfect size for you yo enjoy everything and just 200tl. Got invited to a homemade dessert that don't know what it was but sure it was delicious. Would eat here again if I was gonna stay longer!

We came here for Lunch and we ordered the Mardin special between two people, we were also provided with a big bowl of salad to have with the meal, a free drink on the menu, two free bottles of water and Turkish Tea at the end of our meal, all this came to 205TL.
The service was good, we had an amazing view overlooking the Mesopotamian plain and they even helped move all our stuff over so we could be closer once someone else left.
Would definitely recommend if your looking for big meals at cheap prices, Thank You!

The place is below the Seyr-i Mardin restaurants, and the service was good, and the food was gold. The price is decent, a portion of mardin plate cost 27.5 TL in 2019
The food and service here are amazing. It’s the best meal I’ve had during a 12 day roadtrip through Turkey. I think their menu is set - a mixed zeytinyağlı (olive oil) sarma plate - this means no meat, made with rice (stuffed grape leaves, onions, red peppers and I think tomatoes), spicy and non-spicy kebab, pilav (rice) with döner meat on top. Then they bring out complimentary bread, “salsa,” salad, and onions with sumac. We paid 200 lira to feed 3 adults and four kids. They do have a working air conditioner and cool views out of the window. Not a ton of seating but we had no problem even though they were very busy. Service is super fast.
