Went in today and got some tiramisu. The staff was friendly and man, did I mention the tiramisu? It knocked my socks off. Heaven in every bite, I am not even exaggerating. The only problem is... how on earth am I going to keep my diet now?

Amazing bread, cookies, dinner/lunch entrees. Everything is affordable and the employees are wonderful!

I stop here often. Every day my daughter says “mommy can we go to the bakery?” when we leave her daycare. Their treats never fail to be delicious. They are always friendly when we come in and happy to answer questions I have about what they have that day. We especially love their monster cookies and cupcakes.

Excellent service and cake. I needed a cake on short notice and Pamela was able to help us. She was very kind and helpful during the ordering and pick up. The triple chocolate cake was stunning and was one of the best chocolate cakes my husband and I have had. Our guests loved it as well and it easily fed 8 guests with plenty of leftovers.

Pam has the most beautiful heart. She passes her dedication on to her lovely employees which all mirror her goal of servicing every customer to the best of their abilities. If you want some good food, you should definitely utilize their services because they are amazing! Good people. Good food. Local business. Long time San Marcos folks right here. Give them your business I guarantee you they will take care of you!

We hired the catering service for my daughter's wedding. The first time we did a food tasting it was cold. I asked them if they would make sure it would be hot for the wedding, they said yes.. it was not. Food was medium temperature at the wedding. Also they did their outside hiring for plates and silverware That was a back and forth with them paying attention to how many plates, silverware and amount of food.
Which meant that the budget kept changing.
We had to update them constantly because they kept getting it wrong. All this done 3 days before the wedding. Very stressful.
During the wedding, their waiters took the wine glasses together with the plates. People had finished with the plates but we were still drinking wine.
It made it feel like the wedding was over.
Food was good but cold.

Pamela is one of those special people that takes true pride in what she does. We hired her to cater our wedding--after having several disheartening experiences with other caterers---and we are glad we did!
From the beginning, Pam gave us wonderful suggestions and a detailed invoice of what we should expect (a total which was very reasonably priced in comparison). Steger's Chiffonade truly exceeded our expectations! The staff prepared beautiful blackberry brie bites (among several other hors-d'oeuvres). For our main entree we requested the salmon and veggie lasagna which were both absolutely heavenly. Every single plate was carefully plated and simply beautiful. My mother-in-law who worked in the cooking industry for many years was impressed beyond belief.
Our wedding took place in two locations and not only did Pam's staff move with us, but they did it swiftly. They took care of everything from serving drinks and bites before the ceremony, plating the banquet, to cutting and serving the cake, and charcuterie boards at the second venue.
We had zero concerns during our wedding when it came to the food. After the cake was served, Pamela shook our hand and gave us a hug with an expression on her face that I still remember, one in light of fruition.
This is a small business deserving of recognition. If you are considering caterers, there are many options, but none will carry pride by taking care of you like Steger's Chiffonade will.

We recently hired Pamela Steger to cater our son's rehearsal dinner for 50 guests and I cannot say enough about how professional she was and how well she and her staff treated us! Pamela patiently walked us through the process of menu choices (there are a lot of choices!) and catering details, which all had to take place remotely as we do not live in Texas. The food was amazing! I wish I could prepare Stuffed Flank Steak and Chicken Kebabs that would taste that great! Nothing was overcooked or dry. Just completely tasty and delicious! Thank you Pamela for helping us make this very special event an evening to remember!
