We had a great time there! Highly recommend visiting them. The food and service were excellent! The side of French fries is a very large basket of fries. The fries are very good, thick cut and crunchy. The desserts were all super appealing, the ones we tried were delicious. "The spoon is a reader's friend, scooping from the plate almost by itself. The fork requires more attention." ~Erri De Luca, Tre cavalli Give me a bigger spoon! Housed in what was once a horse stable, dating back to 1906, Spoon & Stable provided us with one of the best meals we have ever experienced anywhere. The pot roast with the foie gras was so amazingly extraordinary! It gave us delicious taste sensations that we have never experienced before, The creamed spinach topped with fried cheese curds was superb too. We have dined at some of the best restaurants in the world, and Spoon & Stable is at the top of the Magnifico! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Tried this spot for brunch. No complaints whatsoever. The pastries were my favorite part. If you haven’t tried the crepe cake, you need to! I also had the Johnny cakes. I wasn’t expecting them to have a spicy kick, but for me it was perfect. Service was pleasant and the space was immaculate.

My husband and I visited Spoon and Stable yesterday and had an exceptional experience. Starting with the valet service right next to the building, which was a smooth process at $12 plus tip and tax, to the warm welcome and coat check-in upon entering, everything was top-notch. The menu delighted us with its 3 pc oysters, risotto, Dorothy’s pot roast, and a side of mushrooms, each dish more delicious than the last. The highlight was the chai spiced pavlova for dessert, accompanied by a custom-made non-alcoholic drink from the bartender. An unexpected surprise from the chef made our seating at the chef's bar even more memorable. Watching the chefs work their magic added a wonderful touch to our dining experience. The food was outstanding, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere just perfect. Highly recommend for an unforgettable dining experience! This is a dining experience you don’t want to miss. From the moment you walk in the door you will feel taken care of. The service is absolutely top notch and the food and drinks are spectacular. Our favorite dish this time was a butternut squash pasta with brown butter sauce. It was unlike anything we’d ever tasted before. The steaks were cooked to perfection and our NA drinks were perfect. You will need a reservation, but it’s absolutely worth the wait. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
What an absolutely incredible experience and meal. To start off, the cocktails were delicious and creative, highlighted by the house Old Fashioned and the Fitzgerald. Both were incredible. The meal started with the delicious oysters and a curry pumpkin soup which was perfect for the colder weather. The oysters came with droppers for hot sauce and mignonette which was such a simple genius idea that we appreciated. Dinner was a dry aged duck and roasted monkfish which were both so full of flavor it was incredible, the sauce with the duck was possibly he best single bite of the night. Finally we enjoyed the toffee pudding, tres leches cake with honeycomb and some of the signature cotton candy for a truly memorable meal. Our waitress Allison was so kind and helped explain everything on the menu along with the backstory of each dish. We absolutely loved our time here and would absolutely make a point to return next time we are in Minneapolis.
