splice was our favourite place to eat in lund, especially their balthi kyckling. since moving out of lund, we had not ordered for a long time but today we did and it was quite disappointing. nothing was as flavourful as before and the chicken was dry. this drop in quality felt even worse when looking at the price. i looked at the prices for balthi and naan from one year ago and they have increased by 70%!!!! 129+20 to 199+54. the quantity remained the same. we did not feel it was not worth it. I lived in Pakistan for over two years so when I visited Lund and found out from my Afghan colleague who grew up in Pakistan and another colleague who was born in Pakistan and lived there until he was 7 that there is a Pakistani restaurant in Lund I had to drop everything and try it. I was not disappointed. The garlic naan was amazing, and I loved the lamb biriyani and chicken balthi and the raita. I only wish there were more plums in the biriyani but I love fruit with meat and wish all biriyanis had more plums. Really tasty Pakora as well, and great and fast service. I even asked if the could put on Pakistani music and they played a blend of Pakistani and Afghan music. I will definitely come here any time I am in Lund. Wish we had one in Gothenburg. I've eaten here many times over many years and it is good quality food. The restaurant is kept very clean. For the menu, I can recommend Splice box. Eat it in the restaurant, it is much better than take-away. The lamb curry in particular is delicious. The truth today! If I could give more stars then five I would!!! There is no place in Lund or in the south of Sweden that can compare to Splice. Fantastic food, service and very clean. Wonderful!!! Everything is just so yummy!!! After having awful Indian yesterday, my husband and I decided to get dinner from Splice. We were not disappointed, again. The food and service are excellent! Highly recommend splice box where you get three main dishes of your choice and it comes with rice, thin bread, pokora, samosa and drink. A lot of food for a fair price! I enjoyed every dish and the mango lassi is a must-have as well!
