🍔 Pretty good burger. Patty was a tad small, especially for the toppings. A novelty item for the tourists. Overall good, but not great. The fries were okay, just a personal preference here as they are very thin. 🧀 Mac n Cheese Bites: pretty dang good! I can say it's one of the better, if not best version I've had. I'd only recommend to the chef, adding one, good sharp cheese to the mix. It needed a punch of flavor. Had a great time. It was super busy when we arrived and we quickly found out why! The atmosphere is great and the food is just as good. The staff was super fun and light hearted while working like a well oiled machine. Best damn burger I’ve had in years. Everything on their menu was ridiculously good. The kale/brussel sprout appetizer & Mac and cheese bites, The house red snapper special, the Chicago burger and the black stone burger were all MOUTH WATERING and so flavorful and juicy. I’m seriously so impressed by the food- I can’t wait to go back and try other things!! The music was also great- 2000s grunge vibes, nice for a somewhat casual dinner and drinks or a heavy lunch. Was recommended by our B&B and can see why. Chose to go between lunch and dinner as I heard there could be a wait due to small seating area and it was not busy during our visit. Quick service , well priced drinks and burgers to come back for. The chili was an afterthought when we ordered and so happy we didn’t miss it. Perfectly flavored with a touch of heat and sweetness that made me continue eating it even after I was full! Great dining experience and for a busy tourist town - well priced and great options. Spirits Tavern in Dahlonega, Ga. A great atmosphere of light music with low tables and high tops and a nice bar area. A nice selection of beer on tap, mixed drinks and also a groovy Bloody Mary bar. The food is a selection of burgers, hotdogs and unique and different choices of sides like tater tots, fried mac n cheese and fried green beans. We had the Laveau Voodoo Burger and the Bleusion Burger. Both were fantastic! We also tried the Mac n Cheese Bites. They were pretty tasty along with a dipping sauce (we asked for on the side, not drizzled). The All Our Cheeses Grilled Cheese was also a twisted treat. It had White American, Swiss, Pepper Jack and Gouda on Sourdough bread; very good!!! The Bloody Mary was good and had 10 different additions on the Bloody Mary bar. Our server, Kenana, was also fantastic. She was professional, prompt and shared her thoughts about each of the selections we made. Kenana kept a smile and our glasses full. When visiting here, you should definitely ask for Kenana!! What a gem of a person and a great place to have some tasty food while in Dahlonega! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My husband and I came here to check out the area for the holidays. Saw the reviews on how good the food here is. They told us it’s a hour and 30 minute wait. Was was gonna go somewhere else he told us to put our name down you never know. We did. They calls us 20 later. Sat at the bar. Cocktails was good. We got apps and burgers. The burgers was great. The service was good too. Bartender checked on us a lot and making conversation. Very nice staff. The music choice was great too. Highly recommended. My husband and I came to Dahlonega for a short vacation and stopped by this wonderful little place. We stopped by a few more times. Delicious food, variety of spirits, and really friendly staff. Stopped by to watch some Sunday NFL and it was great. They have 1 TV at the bar but it's angled so anyone sitting at the bar can watch. Spirits has about 12-15 burger/chicken sandwich options and all looked fantastic. My burger was huge and cooked perfectly (medium rare), the buns were fresh, and the tots were crispy. The bartender was a super friendly guy and was on top of things. Prices were very fair for the portions and service. Will definitely be back! I'd give it 5 stars for the food, and our waitress was friendly. After a long hike, we were eager to sit down. While there were plenty of available tables, the host mentioned a 45-minute wait. We asked if we could stand around the bar and have some drinks while waiting, and they agreed. However, some bar seats later became available, and when we sat there, they asked us to vacate because there was a waitlist for the bar. It was a bit embarrassing in front of others. Nevertheless, we stayed, and more tables and chairs opened up. My guess is that they pinged people of the waiting list, when they didn't show up, they seated us after 30 mins. I wish there wasn't a waitlist option for bar seats, and preference was given to people waiting on the premises rather than those who weren't there. Despite this, we still enjoyed the food and drinks. Their food was really good, and we were very impressed with their burgers. We stopped in for dinner and had an excellent time. The staff was welcoming and provided great recommendations for both food and beverage. The cocktail program here is excellent. There was a really nice selection of bourbon and whiskey and the bartender made an excellent old fashioned. The food was delicious! We split a burger and a chicken sandwich between the two of us and both were tasty. We enjoyed our experience here so much that we went back for lunch the next day. The space is small so if they are busy, there might be a little wait, but it was worth it. Highly recommended.
