Smokin Rose Speakeasy is such an awesome vibe. The perfect, black owned, small cigar lounge with an intimate feel. Located on Meeting St. they have a selection of premium cigars and whiskeys to enjoy while you relax and enjoy mature conversation. The decor definitely gives off a speakeasy aura with dark colors for the wall and wood floors with comfy seating. The space makes you feel warm and invited like you’re part of the best kept secret! The owner, Quentin is a local who is passionate about the cigar and drink industry and strives to provide the best service while making you feel at home. Being so close to downtown it’s great for a nightcap after being around the hustle and bustle of the city. Any time you come in you can expect to find friendly individuals all gathered around to share their love of the leaf and watch a game on the big screen tv. We can’t wait for our next visit. Stop by when you get a chance, you won’t regret it!

Briefly glanced at the reviews as I went to post this, and wholeheartedly agree - some of the best people you’ll find anywhere are in this establishment. It’s not pretentious but knows what it has. The people loving and genuinely want to share the best the world has to offer with others. This is not a 5 star Charleston speakeasy. This is a 5 star part of the world.

We were at Smokin Rose two weeks ago. We drove in from Texas and straight there!! My husband loves a good cigar. We met some great new friends (Rocky, April and Russell!). Then Q came in. We were welcomed again heartily!! We stayed there for a couple of hours, and made new friends. The next night we had dinner with Q and the gorgeous Felicia! Absolutely the best time ever. Q introduced us to other wonderful folks and places. He is one of the most awesome fellas you could ever meet! If you love cigars, bourbon and wonderful folks, hit Smokin Rose. You will be soooo glad you did!!

We were visiting from Atlanta.. I own a cigar bar in Woodstock Ga, and we were very impressed with the friendly staff, and we me Q as we were leaving..ha gave me one of their house blends, which I smoked that evening.. Excellent! We were coming back Monday before leaving town to get some more, and find out if he wholesales them to other retailers, but sadly, they're only open Thursdays through Sun..I'll give him a call when we get home..

THE best cigar shop and lounge in Charleston. Hospitality here is unmatched, you are treated nothing less than family. Smokin Rose is my top number 1 place to visit in Charleston as whole. Nothing matches the amazing vibe in here, the world needs more of this! I look forward to seeing this grow!

Incredible spirit selection, amazingly friendly staff, comfortable lounge setup and an overall great vibe. If you have a group that likes whiskey and cigars, this is the place to go to in Charleston.

We joined the crowd at Smokin Rose Speakeasy tonight for the last evening of our wedding anniversary celebrations. It was so worth it!! The staff was excellent and attentive the atmosphere was perfect. We will be back! It is the perfect spot for an after dinner smoke and drink. A not-to-be-missed cigar bar in Charleston!
