Atmosphere is impeccable - what better way than to enjoy Saipan's wonderful beach views during sunset hour. Service was decent, enjoyed the drinks, but food was excruciatingly subpar. Would probably only return for the drinks. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

The setup is great, the service was awesome, but the quality of the product was horrible. The draft beer was warm, the bottle beer was warm. I had to get a bucket of ice to chill down the beers. And a bucket (5beers) of budweiser/budlight was the same as imported beer, which they were out of. For this bar to be located on Hyatt property, you would think the quality would be good. We were seriously disappointed and ended up having to go elsewhere for dinner. We ordered a cheeseburger, and it had stale chips. The quality of the burger was not great. The chicken keleguen had no flavor, and looked nothing like chicken keleguen. The tacos were bland. The only reason I gave 2 stars is for the workers. I will not blame the bad food on them because they can only work with, with the tools they're given.

What an amazing set up. I was here in 2020 and then last week and I have to say, I think the new set up fits the aesthetic of the island quite nicely. Walk up bar, tables, and a grill. Youve got to love the beautiful simplicity of it. I love this place.

Located on the beach at the Hyatt Regency in Saipan, Skipper's is a great place for a casual dinner. All of the entrees were very reasonably priced under $20. We have eaten there twice and really enjoyed ourselves both nights. They don't start serving until 4:30pm and the hot food is prepared on the beach on the grill, or prepped in the kitchen ahead of time. The cheeseburger came with tomato, lettuce, onions, cheese and chips and salsa. They also serve a tasty local dish: chicken kelaguen. I really enjoyed that as well, as did my ultra-picky eater husband. Keep in mind it is slight spicy.
