I just picked up the jerk chicken bowl for lunch after hearing nothing but glowing reviews of the food. And now, what's my humble verdict: I knew I was in for a treat when I opened the bowl. The smell of this culinary creation is a thing of beauty. The perfectly cooked chicken, the fruit, and the rice is sure to put a smile on your face. But how does it taste? There are few words, so I will keep it simple: pure delight. My only -- only -- complaint was that the meal had to come to an end. It left me wanting more. In a world so full of fast food malaise, Sisters Cravings is a little vacation for your taste buds. It is one of the best meals I've had in a very long while. I stopped in yesterday on my way out of town and tried the Buffalo Soldier salad. The ladies working were so kind and welcoming. The salad: WOW. This was the BEST salad I've ever had. It had so much chicken packed on top and was extremely flavorful. I was more than impressed and will definitely be back whe I'm in town. I’ve lived in Kingsport for years. I thought I’d heard of/been to all the best local spots in the area. I have never been more happy to be wrong. I don’t know which one was more impacting: the amazing, quality food or the ladies that run it. I got a jerk chicken bowl and a smoothie. Every bite of the chicken bowl had a new or more complex flavor profile. The smoothie is, without exaggeration, the best smoothie I’ve ever had. The ladies there exude positivity and seeing there connection customers was moving. I know Keith Lee is never gonna come to Kingsport, but if he did, I’d be sending him their way. God bless!
