I just went in there and pump gas so I pump a gallon because it’s more expensive than anywhere else so I though I’ll pump enough to make it to the next gas station and guess what my gauge never moved I had 12 miles left and stayed at 12 miles 🤦♂️
With Inflation, and Soaring Fuel prices on everyone's mind I noticed this location (only about 3 miles from I-30, where there are several locations to get fuel) had their Diesel @ $5.599, The highest I've seen it ANYWHERE, Ever. Just last week, the highest prices were $5.39, with most @ $5.29. Then, within the past week, prices have gone down as low as $4.95 for Diesel, with an average for the area at $5.05 to $5.09. SO... I'm not sure why this one location refuses to meet the current market pricing, but consider that at an additional 50 Cents per gallon over market price, and most Diesels holding about 35 gallons, they are profiting an additional $17... PER VEHICLE. WHY ??
For the only local store in town, for miles, it is a nice place. Has a Sonics with happy and friendly staff. Usually has everything in stock.
The only problem the place has is the septic system. It has major issues causing a septic odor throughout the entire store. Yeah, then there is that.
It only makes sense that a guy named Harim runs this store. I travel all over the metroplex for work. Have been for almost 20 years. I usually just follow my gps but when I get close to this place, something draws me in. Many blessings to this “sacred place” of Harim’s.
Clerk pretended that he did not know what the shell points rewards program was and would not allow me to enter my phone number for the savings discount. In addition, it smelled like the septic tank was full.
Lone Star Ranch has a sonic with drive through, 10 pumps, clean restrooms, and enough room to navigate a trailer under 20ft. On the way out, I also noticed they had an air pump in case you have a low tire. Air pump accepts credits cards as well. Nice place
