This place is a total rip-off and price gouging for gas. They are a dollar more for regular unleaded than the Chevron across the street. Now I know why they do not advertise their price on the internet for regular. Stay away. And I don't know why these 5 star reviews are saying that this is such a " great place to stop". This store is nothing different than any other little store across the country so they are probably being written by friends, family and employees. Don't patronize their price gouging antics.
This is the best stop on my way to Phoenix. Large shop, plenty of products. The cleanest restrooms from the west coast to the east coast. GAS prices are high but it's ok for this lvl of convenience.
Clean and well stocked Shell/Pilot fuel stop.
Decent size lot for parking and the employees were nice.
The only reason why I gave it 4 stars was because they do not have showers.
Horrible people works here. Today, at around 3:45 PM, I was driving my company vehicle and got in the middle of a Monsoon. The storm broke one of my windows, water was rushing in the vehicle and o couldn’t see. I tried to get in the store. This lady, a worker locked the door and wouldn’t let me in. I begged her to let me in. I’m a professional individual that dress professionally, but she wouldn’t care that I needed shelter and was in distressed. Extremely poor customer care from her. Now, I truly feel bad for her for being so poor of an individual. I hope her heart will change to be more sympathetic for others. She’ll, needs to train their personnel to be more considerate.
Preauthorized my card twice for $125. Most places do it for $1. Would have been fine, just a little weird but when I went in the store they were saying it was my bank that decided the amount and were pretty rude implying it was my fault. No, the merchant decides pre-authorization amount, not the card issuer. Don’t blame customers for your problem
My family and I were traveling from Colorado Springs CO with our travel trailer and we lost a/c in our truck back before Dateland, we traveled for an hour or so stopping at fueling stations and no one had anything to fix or help me out. We stopped here just hoping we didn't have to make the journey to Yuma without the a/c. They had exactly what I needed to get my truck a/c working again. They also gave my family cold towels and let them sit inside while I was outside working on the truck. If you live near or have traveled this way, you know it is like 115° in the middle of the day. I didn't get the young lady's name that was extremely kind to us as we were in trouble. I know she once lived in Colorado and had moved back. But i just didn't get her name. But this place was very clean and neat, the staff was the best, they told us we could stay as long as we needed. I will stop here always if I am in the area. These people and this place was like a blessing to my family. If you have to stop this is the place to do it!!! Thank you again!!!!
This gas station let my traveling buddie and I sleep in their parking lot ( huge lot) as other travelers and truckers do, en route between Phoenix, AZ and Yuma, AZ. The general trip, one way, takes approximately 3 hours; round trip ~ 6 hours.
So, as we needed a break and were exhausted, hungry, and in need of freshening up, the gas station provided a rather colorful spread of hot and cold fresh food, snacks, and beverages. There are also some interesting souvenir gifts provided all throughout the store provided by local and commercial suppliers.
The store is clean, fresh, inviting. Restrooms are clean, large, and inside there I one large long stainless steel sink, basin-style, with three separate faucets, but provides the extra access to water one traveling far might need for hygiene. I washed my hair it over the sink and it was so perfect and didn't instruct others and remained hygienic and some to clean up afterwards.
And this staff was soooo patient, friendly, and supporrive, yet unassuming and relaxed.
This had to be my favorite gas station ever. I felt like I could practically live there! Honestly, it was a rest well deserved and necessary in the perfect spot.
Pictured are a funny, yet we'll marketed new AZ local resident's gift idea! Pretty cool?
*Note:. This is also a Pilot gas providing station.*
Thank you for your time and help!! My
Its a very nice and clean store. The problems are that they don't sale coka cola 2 liters, there's no showers for the truckers the gas pumps for the unleaded gas seems to rip you off most of the cashiers seem to be scared of fast movement or someone in a hurry, the disrespect of most of the cashiers calling the customers stupid and the final complaint is that subway is alright especially for people that want to be and stay in good health but Mc Donalds is what we need there.
