Shakespeare's reminds me of some of the old pubs in the 80's, which I do enjoy. The food was great! I had the Stripper Chicken Melt, my partner had a shrimp pasta dish. It does get loud, and seeing how it is a pub some of the coarse language from the other patrons makes it not so kid friendly. The place was pretty busy and the service staff were great. The smoked wings here are fantastic, hands down my favorite wings in Eastern Iowa area. The beer selection is right in the sweet spot, the servers are generally excellent and very welcoming, and it’s got a casual sports bar vibe where it’s about the food and the company- but it’s nice to have some games on too. I wish I could comment on other menu options but I can’t resist the wings so it’s all I can comment on, all their sauces are good but the Carolina gold is the standout ImO Food: 5 Atmosphere: 5
