I ordered here a couple of times when I was in my ordering too often on grub hub phase and it was a breakfast favorite. It's like an upscale version of Denny's but with Denny's prices. I've never been to the actual restaurant but it was in a nice location off of Main St. in Martinez., definitely worth a try if you're a breakfast-lover. They had a decent lunch menu as well but check hours carefully before you head over. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I wanted to like this place so much. We love supporting small businesses. But my experience was disappointing. I ordered scrambled eggs with cheese. I was brought fried eggs. I mentioned the error, and about ten minutes later I was brought a plate with a pile of chopped fried eggs with cheese. We were out of time so I didn't ask for another redo. When I mentioned the second error with my eggs when asking for the bill, I got a vague "ok" in reply. The bill came without any sort of discount or explanation. I paid and left. We eat here for the outdoor seating. The food is good. This is one of the only California diners that can make hash browns well and they can cook an egg to order. Sounds like faint praise but getting an egg over medium seems increasingly rare. My wife thought her breakfast burrito was very good. Family run, friendly, and in charming downtown Martinez.
