The food was good, but, I was missing my vegetables. We couldn't find or get a hold of our waitress(Emma). Some sweet girl from the back helped us (take our order, took order for dessert). I saw our waitress 2 times (1. Bringing our food to the table. 2. Checking on us after we got a hold of the other girl for dessert.) Russ' Round-Up: A 5-Star Family Feast! Let me tell you, folks, dining at Russ' was like hitting a culinary jackpot for this fam of six. We rolled in hungry and left grinning, bellies full of good food and hearts warmed by top-notch service. The Food: Oh, the food! We tackled the menu like a champion team. The roast beef was a homerun – melt-in-your-mouth tender, with a gravy that danced on your tongue. My wife, who's a roast beef connoisseur (it's a thing, trust me), declared it "the best she's had in years." The double cheeseburger was a juicy behemoth, perfectly stacked and satisfying. My son inhaled it with the zeal of a teenage vacuum cleaner. The chicken strips and tender chicken were crispy perfection, and the mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy bliss (my other son practically licked the bowl clean). Even the fries, those humble potato soldiers, were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside – a testament to Russ' culinary prowess. The Service: But the star of the show (besides the food, obviously) was our waitress. She was a master of her craft, balancing efficiency and friendliness with the grace of a seasoned pro. She anticipated our needs, kept the water glasses full, and even cracked jokes that had us snorting into our napkins (my wife and I, anyway – the kids just rolled their eyes at our silliness).
