The shop is quite nice. I've been there quite a few times though where there were huge queues and they were severely understaffed. I used to buy coffee here every month, and they have some of the best fermented coffee I've tried. Unfortunately though, they raised prices by a whopping 56% (apart from a few lower quality ones), making this one of the most expensive roasters in the Netherlands. Nice, little coffee place. Beans with a strong and unique flavor. I had the cappuccino with par milk which was really delicious. The backing goods and pastries are delicious as well. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Rum Baba is a great new coffee spot at the Transvaalbuurt in Amsterdam. The coffee is from Brazil and very good, they also serve a number of good teas. I buy their beans to brew at home and I must say: Great specialty coffee! Always aromatic and rich in flavour. Every cup is full of layers of taste that will make you want to both savor and finish it too soon. But the reason I'm writing this review is because I'm blown away by their decaf. I've never tasted a better decaf cup and I've tried multiple roasters. Please keep doing what you're doing and roast some magical beans! cute spot, friendly staff and good coffee + matcha however i was quite taken aback by the level of untidiness of their coffee station - the staff seemed quite disorganized, their work stations were a mess; coffee grinds all over the counters, empty milk cartons sitting around the coffee machine, etc. which was slightly off-putting unfortunately. We ordered a cappuccino with oat and matcha latte to go. Coffee was average, would be nice if I could taste some more of their coffee beans or specialty. The matcha latte was good but should’ve been in a smaller cup. Overall, I was quite disappointed in their coffee and think its too overrated. I would not go again. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
